| Halley ’s Comet comes once in 76 years. So most people get to see it just once. Kaushik Pandit, a centenarian from Mumbai, India saw Halley ’s Comet when he was barely 14 years old. The second time was in February 1986.He was invited to see the celestial sight at the Nehru Planetarium. |

Halley's Comet was the first to be recognized as periodic. Halley is classified as a periodic or short-period comet; one with an orbit lasting 200 years or less. Despite the vast size of its coma, Halley's nucleus is relatively small; barely 15 kilometres long, 8 kilometres wide and perhaps 8 kilometres thick. I really am regretting because I didn't saw the Halley comet here in California. I am busy making my reports! So sad.
