At the Google I/O Developer Conference , google announced that it will ready at least 18 Android phones to ship in 2009. Google will launch part two of its Android Developer Challenge contest in early August.

| Well it's a good and as bad a guess as any because it doesn't need 3.0, there's no background running feature coming. It could be tomorrow or next year, that's why I hate Google's "Coming soon". |

Every company has a core area or expertise. And whenever any one deviates from its core area of expertise, it is bound not to reach at the top in the new area.
iPhone is th undisputed leader. Google can just try to emulate ...let us see.
